Plaquenil and Lyme

Since my Rhuem diagnosed me as Seronegative RA she has put me on Plaquenil. I have been on it for 4 months now. Plaquenil is an anti-malarial drug, but I was wondering if this would tamper some how with Lyme test results or would it actually cure it? I only heard so far antibiotics does this.

When you see the LLMD, take a list of all your current meds with you and take notes of when you started the meds.  I don't know about Plaquenil being used with Lyme coinfections; the antimalarial used for babesia is usually Mepron, but the first thing to do is find out what you've got, then the drugs can be adjusted.  Be sure to take all your recent test results with you to the LLMD (I'd be inclined to take the last year's worth at least) so the LLMD can see what was done and what the results were; it might give the LLMD a leg up on knowing which way to go with testing, diagnosis and treatment for you.
