Purple spots on skin?

Has anyone had purple/blue spots that look like bruises, but aren't?

I get these one at a time and have only had a few in the last few months, but it is strange.

They are always the size of a pencil eraser and round. They last for a few days and go away. They look like purpura of some type.

I just read in a Lyme book (can't remember which one) of a lady who had the same thing.

me too. i get them on my legs right above my knees. i just figured they were bruises because random bruises i dont remember getting constantly show up on my legs.  i assume its part of the lyme because they arent painful like bruises should be.

i get them mostly inbetween my shoulder and bicep on both arms, your right they do look like the end of an eraser.  just got use to having them

I was looking for some ans. when I spotted this. I am having the same problem .They are random purple circles that do look like a pencil eraser did you ever get a ans.

Yes, I've had random blue, purple and black bruises.  They appear out of nowhere, in different places on my body.  I was bitten by a tick in Michigan. Hope this helps!

I am very fair. These aren't suggestive of the lyme rash. They look just like the pics I saw of vasculitis, only one spot at a time.

On darker complexions, the lyme EM rash can appear as a bruise.

Don't know if that helps or not!

The description I gave above describes vasculitis.
