Although I can't know for sure but I'd suspect the Tindimax. But that may be just because Flagyl caused immense depression in me (I stopped) and bicillin was good to me.
I did have a bit of depression when first starting bicillin but it wasn't anything NEAR like what Flagyl produced!
That's just my personal experience.
Thanks for the replies. Hate to continue asking on this, but last night the LLMD had me go back up to 2.4 mu on bicillin. Also took a small dose of Tindimax.
Woke up this morning EXTREMELY depressed. Also had higher level of anxiety I have been taking Bicillin since November in either 2.4 mu or 1.2 mu twice a week. Don't know if adding a small bit of Tindimax could cause the rise in depression or the rise in dose of Bicillin. Herx? Have no idea about anything with this anymore.
I'm beginning to feel very lost in all this. Any ideas on whether this could be a reaction to the higher dose of Bicillin or the Tindimax. Anyone with experience in this area would be appreciated. I'm hitting a wall here in more ways than one. Started treating all this about a year ago and am no different now than I was then.
I agree with you both - still have Lyme, but I didn't mean to sound like I thought I had gotten rid of it. Never did stop treatment but the treatment I was doing just seemed to stop after feeling better. That's why I've added in the Buhner J. Knotweed, Cat's Claw Eleuthero and Sarsparilla, along with about 10 other supplements.
Also thinking as bad as the pollen is here, allergies may be playing a part in battling this stuff. I have read allergies maker Lyme worse and Lyme makes allergies worse.
As far as diet, I think cave 76 has a point about food but also know some foods make, or seem to make me feel worse. Sugar - headache. Bread - pain.
At a point where I don't know what to believe. Just have to keep on hoping the right combination is out there for this before I look like a freak with all the fat loss and skin wrinkling. Guess vanity drives some of this, but it bothers me to see it. Like a constant reminder.
Thanks.
"Saw that post after I wrote mine. Sorry. Maybe I pushed it too much or didn't eat well enough. Also thinking could be Bartonella, which I will start treating after track season (coach high school)."
I'm not a believer in 'what we eat' for not resolving Lyme disease (or co's) unless maybe a person exists on nothing but junk food and drinks a LOT of liquor! Which I don't believe is true in your case.
It breaks my heart to hear so many people anguishing over the lack of improvement or a relapse or.......
The truth is------ unless you're lucky (and many have been!) and your symptoms go away and stay away for years------then it's 'just Lyme and co's doing their thing. Until they really understand the proclivities of Lyme they're will always try to find a reason for relapse in something THEY did or didn't do.
I'll repeat what mojo said:
"You still have Lyme. You probably did not treat it long enough the first time."
Simple as that.
You still have Lyme. You probably did not treat it long enough the first time. Unless you were bit and soon after got meds then it could require treatment of at least a year.
Another cyst buster is Flagyl or if natural, grapefruit see extract. Horowitz mentions this in his book.

I'm sorry you're having a resurgence or continuation of symptoms but unfortunately that's not uncommon. :(
