Symptoms-to Pasty10

Pasty since you have been so helpful and patient with everyone including myself I want to thank you. I also would like to ask you this- my abdomin (all over from after my breasts down seems to hurt on and off but mostly in my right side, even further down between my stomach and what seems like my pelvic area (not sure though) is this common in Lyme at all? Ive heard from one poster here that they "like cartalige" is this true? and would my pains in different parts of my abdomin (some lower and some higher, have to do with Lyme?) I have been on Doxy now for about 3 weeks still also have stiff neck and some back pains. My eyes also seems to be dry and itchy/blurry at times. could any or all of these symptoms be from Lyme, based on what you have heard from people on this site or from yourself?

patsy I hope you are right, thank you again for being the great person that you are. you have been so nice and sweet with your patience and advice...I cannot go to sleep now and need to be awake in a few hours. I can't bring myself to go to sleep and cannot concentrate on anything else at all... Yes the Lymes was positive but its just hard for me to believe I guess because it came out of no where you know? And hopefully/I pray that I do not have Hep. C because I would not be able to deal with everything/guilt/anxiety/stress/depression...I keep praying...I am just very very very scared and terrified about the Lymes being a false positive because I DO NOT want this to happen... :'(

I think (but I don't know as I am not a doctor) since the only test you have had that is positive is lyme, this is likely the cause of your symptoms.  Plus, your doctor diagnosed you with lyme correct? Lyme can cause just about any symptom, anywhere in the body.  Antibiotics can cause GI issues like diarrhea.  Dry skin could be many different things and a lot of people have it.  I have it.

I think stress and constant worry aggravate any and all symptoms so this could be making your symptoms worse.

I also have dry skin (on face and sometimes on hands which seem to itch.) I know Doxy is a antibiotic used for acne could this be causing the dry skin to happen? I am seriously freaking out and cannot sleep here. and I have read you can get Hep. C from sexual contact although its unlikely (which is also hard to believe) Now my stool have been light color orangy/brown and still change from hard to soft. When I was on augmentin it was green, mostly diareeh veryyyy bad. What do you think about my symptoms? all of them? I feel like I am making myself more sick and I keep praying this really is Lyme. I want to know exactly what I have and I hope this is it.

Yes conjunctivitis is a symptom of lyme.  It is not a symptom of hepatitis C though.  The stomach issues can be related to doxy or lyme.  Doxy is hard on the stomach.  I  had diarrhea for months when I first got sick.

I think when your hep C test comes back ( hopefully negative), this will convince you that you don't have the other diseases you are concerned about.  I know it's hard.  I was convinced for the longest time I had MS.  I didn't believe any of the normal test results.  I literally saw 6 neurologists and didn't believe any of them.  I finally was able to let it go and stop letting it consume me.  It took a long time.

thank you very much for answering all of my questions I appreciate it so much. I also want to ask if congunctivitious is a symptom of Lymes Disease? My eyes seem to sometimes blurry and a little itchy and bothersome...still white (no discoloration/no discharge) but a little bothersome and a little gook but that happens sometimes I guess. I am totally going crazy. Is this Lyme.

HI....My son was diagnosed with lyme because of all his stomach problems. He had all the pain up and down, gas, stoole problems and very gurgly stomach. They thought it was h pylori but turned out to be bad lymes. Doxy really didnt help the problem, made the stomach worse. He now takes prilosec to help acid build up and to help the lining heal while he's on anibiotics. Good luck to you.

patsy thank you so much...what about going to the bathroom....like hard and soft stools? they seem to be on and off sometimes. I even had a lot of rectal bleeding the other day twice because of it. could this also be the Doxycycline? I took another Lymes test Friday morning as well as other tests...I asked her to also check for Hep. C although she said when she had gotten my blood work in late May (when we checked for Lyme) that my Liver functions are normal. I am just so anxiety driven and very scared. I will see what happens but I honestly do not know what to do with myself anymore. I can't stop worrying. I apparently had been checked for all STDs and came back negative. But i am still panicing about that too... and want to get tested again.

I have had all of what you listed.  It could all be lyme in my opinion. The rib soreness was awful.  They even hurt to touch.  I would scream if they were pressed on.  The all over stomach discomfort could be from lyme.  Think about having the flu.  You hurt all over.  Well lyme is an infection all over so it is possible.  Do talk to your doctor about the stomach pain as it could be so many different things from appendix to gas.  It really has to be evaluated by a doctor.

Lyme does like cartilage to my knowledge.
