Waxing legs ok w/ Lyme?"

Does anyone know if they can  get a leg wax with Lyme?"

I can't really think of a reason why not.  However, many people with Lyme have a lot of inflammation and pain as it is.  Waxing could cause more pain, so from that point of view it may not be a good idea.

The only other thought that comes to mind is that lots of people with Lyme develop chemical sensitivities.  So the smell or contents of the leg wax may become an irritant to you, even if they were not in the past.

I'm not a medical doctor, so look further for advice if you're not sure.
