No, seriously, it's not that different: feeling tired and worn out and mentally dull and just creepy, like I was constantly coming down with something, but never did.
If you've been on birth control pills or taken repeated or extended antibiotics, you could have a chronic, systemic yeast infection ... you could google it and see what you find. It's pretty well accepted now that it's a real thing, not what some wacky female patients made up.
Dr. Jernigan (The Hansa Center) has a wonderful natural product called "yeast-ease". It is available without a prescription. The product cleared up my yeast problems and like Jackie, I also felt worse after using his product... but then felt much better.

Years ago I was on lots of antibiotics for a long time after surgery, and after it was all done with, I still felt lousy and couldn't figure why. It was in the years when Dr Crook's book called The Yeast Connection was new, and when drs (and certain family members who will remain nameless) sneered at the idea of systemic yeast infections.
Around that same time, diflucan-type antifungals (that is, systemic treatments, not just vaginal cream) were finally invented, and I talked my GP into giving me a prescription (it was four days, 1 pill a day, back then). I remember the day I took the first one -- it was like being hit by a truck. I thought I was getting really sick, like a bad BAD case of flu, but within a few hours it began to resolve, and the yeast infection WENT AWAY. It was fabulous.
