Yeast question

I have had  a year of cyclical break outs on my tongue of very painful flesh colored bumps on both sides of my tongue and my LLMD thinks it is yeast so I have been taking diflucan for 6 weeks and the bumps went and way and have not come back....until tonight. One has popped up and usually more follow the next day or two. Has anyone had anything like this or can someone make a suggestion of another pill for yeast that would cure this for me?

I'll cross my fingers for you that it doesn't get worse.
The nystatin only works on the mouth things while it is actually in your mouth. You can suck the tablets for ages, but as you said, the liquid is just impossible to hold in your mouth for longer than a swish.
Hopefully it won't be necessary, but if the liquid doen't work, I would ask for tablets wihout waiting too long.

I started on the Nystatin liquid, swish and swallow which didn't do anything except taste bad. I am on the the B supplements. So far this morning, there is still just one bump so maybe it won't get worse?  I can always hope.

When I had this I was prescribed nystatin tablets to suck slowly, pressed against the nasty bits.
They worked well (despite the vile taste) and apparently they are very light on the liver (unlike diflucan).

BTW are you taking a vitamin B complex tablet? You can get sore red things on your tongue from deficiency in some B vitamins. It's one of the nutrient deficiencies v common in Lyme, so that might be worth investigating if these things keep comig back.
