arm/hand pain

I randomly get annoying arm/hand pain.  It radiates from my elbow through my wrists and hands (feels like hitting funny bone over and over).  Sometimes just my elbows hurt, sometimes just my wrists, sometimes just my hands.  I've been tested for RA and Carpal Tunnel.  Both Neg.  Also my Rhem. called and my autoimmune tests came back normal as well.   Does anyone else get these arm/hand pains?  Can lyme do this?

My left arm has been causing me a little grief where it will get numb or tingles. My left shoulder in the last week or so has developed some joint pain that comes and goes. I assume part of it is Lyme getting into the nerves. Hopefully my shoulder won't develop Rice Krispies sounds like a lot of lymies who have joint issues.

Yes, I get radiating pain in my arms and legs.  It feels like it is traveling through my tissue in streams, and can be a nuisance or a nightmare depending on how good a day it is.

I think pains like these are among the many common complaints of Lyme patients.  Holding even a light object (like a folder with just a few sheets of paper) for more than a moment or two can make my hands and wrists hurt and/or make my skin tingle/burn.  I type everything, but if I am forced to write with a pen, it quickly becomes painful.

Hot showers are a no-no for me!  I developed heat intolerance over a year ago.  Too much heat can either activate my sensory symptoms, leaving me tingling and buzzing like crazy, or bring on flu-ish bouts of fatigue and achiness.  Even though I've been doing so much better lately, I can still wipe myself out for most of the day if I take too long or too hot a shower.  Too bad, because it is otherwise therapeutic on my joints.

Hot  showers help me a lot too.  Sometimes though in the evening if the pain is more of 'deep ache' than 'throbbing' a hot bath with Epsom salts then straight to bed gives me enough relief to relax a bit and drift off to sleep - atleast untill I wake up a few hours later feeling like my bladder is in need of relief - on going to the bathroom there might be an egg cup full at best!!!!  and so it goes -all night.

I'm wafling-on again

Oh, yes.  On and off all the time, some days worse than others.  A very warm/hot shower helps the aches and pains.
