what is the best and most accurate test for lymes? i have read many times about false negatives.

According to Dr. Garth Nicolson (he just recently spoke at a lyme conference and is very involved with lyme, CFS, Gulf War Syndrome and autoimmune diseases)... the best test for lyme:

Lyme Borrelia Test (CPT: 86617)—Borrelia burgdorferi (Lyme Disease) by Western Blot analysis.

Western Blot Test--only one to do if you want the right result.

It's expensive, results are sent to CA to get tested, but worth it if you don't have a clear answer.
