This may not happen to you at all but my toes and soles of both feet are numb. The doctor tests me with a sharp object on my feet and I say ready when you are, not knowing she has already done the test.
Yet, I feel the burning, electrical pains in my toes and I get pain in my soles as if I have a thumb tack stuck in the foot. Logically if I am numb there, you wouldn't think I would feel those burning pains, yet I do. It actually hurts so much that I limp.
Another mystery of this wonderful illness :(

No burning here, either.  Just occasionally frozen toes.

I think you were talking to me.
My LLMD thinks its the Bart's. It's one of the symptoms that gave me the wrong dx of MS with a mainstream doc.

Since you have Lyme, babs and bart, I'd guess that the burning sensation could well be related to one or more of those infections.  What does your doc say?

I have had it in just my toes but then in other parts of my body as well but not necessarily on the same day. I have Lyme , and 2 co- infections , Bart's and Babs..

A burning sensation indicates nerve pain.  Lyme has been known to cause burning sensations, but more widespread, as Jackie said. If this is your only symptom, you could just have an irritated or damaged nerve to that toe.

Since the pains sounds bad, you might consider a visit to the doctor to search for a cause or to get an appropriate pain med.

Welcome --

I haven't had the symptom you describe, but Lyme shows up differently in everyone, and I think I have read of others having what you describe, but often more widespread than just a toe.
