cracking?

cracking?

Hi again

Does this sound familiar...when I'm walking down stairs, my ankles crack pretty loudly. Sometimes I get stares from people..haha. Also I've noticed when I turn my head it feels like bones are rubbing together in my neck. It doesn't hurt but feels odd. Is this something I should mention if I ask to get tested for lyme. I've read that cracking can be a symptom.

Thanks again
-Sarah

I get a lot of cracking, esp; in my neck & shoulders - I am seeing LLMD soon and I am going to mention EVERYTHING!!!   What other symptoms do you have?

Cracking is a very common lyme symptom.  I crack all over even my jaw.  I sound like walking on dry sticks  in the woods.

My neck, often.

My ankles, sometimes.  Snapping sounds like rubber bands.

My knees crackle sometimes like Rice Krispies in milk.

Have you found out any more about your cracking?  I contracted Lyme & Ehrlichiosis a year ago.  I am still having symptoms, but lately my back cracks ALL the time with the slightest movement whether sitting or standing.  Please reply with any information you have found about cracking.  Thanks!

Welcome --

Just note to say that gorbybelle hasn't posted here for quite a while, so you might not get an answer from her -- but someone else might pop up.

What meds were you treated with, and for how long?

Ha!  Right up my alley, I'm the king of cracking joints!  40+  years of it!  Oddly, I don't know which coinfection was behind it. It's one of the first symptoms in me to go in reverse!  Least with the herbals I was taking.  Neck doesn't snap anymore when I turn it, shoulders still fall out of joint, but it feels like there's less bone to bone scraping.  My back doesn't pop anymore, only one of my ankles still cracks, but only if I rotate it a certain way, and it isn't as sharp as it used to be, more of a thud than a crack now.  I don't think its Borrelia itself, though it could be, I think it's one of the coinfections, just my oinion, what do I know after packing it so long?

Olives, olive oil, and olive lesf all contain compounds that support bone growth.  I ate a lot of all of them.
