Hi, I hope everyone is doing well

I just got confirmation from my llmd that I do have lyme disease. I had a positive igenex igm western blot with bands 41 and 31 positive. The lab ran another test that confirms that band 31 is positve for lyme and not a virus. I got a positive on that as well.

My llmd is putting me on 750mg twice daily of flagyl along with banderol, quina, burber, magnesium, ldn, and strong probiotics. I was wondering if anyone here has taken falgyl and if there were any bad herx reactions. I'm a little nervous about starting this so I'm going to wait until after the holidays. I'm also going to be test for co-infections next week. I'm just glad its starting to move along for me.

I was on flagyl with another antibiotic, but on none of the other things your MD is putting you on (except I put myself on magnesium).

The flagyl was surprisingly not a problem, and I am sensitive to EVERYthing.

Be brave, and if you have problems, call the MD and go to Plan B.

I've been on Flagyl for a little over a month now.  I'm pulsing it in 3 days a week along with other abx.  I did feel a lot more achy at first and it also causes depression.  Still not feeling well, but am told it is probably just doing it's job.

Heard good and bad things about it..  Some people take it with no problems others say it's tough.  I'd say I'm in the middle.  But I'll continue taking it as it is a cyst buster and very important in treatment.
