Sorry to hear about the rough time you've had and are continuing to have. If you are not seeing a Lyme specialist currently, I'd suggest that you do so. It's never too late to try!
I have been diagnosed with late lyme. (Blood tests def confirmed, 10 out 12 strands positive). I am 29 and my docs seem to think I contracted lyme when I was 12 (when I had a severly infused joint/knee) and I then developed a heart condition called SVT, I had to get dentures when I was 16 and then had to have my thyroid removed in 2001. Now I have severe muscle pain all the time that is paralizing. I did not connect my having to get dentures at such a young age with lyme until I read this. It may very well be possible, it would explain alot. It seems everyday I discover something new. Lyme is a very difficult disease. I wish they had more answer to all of our questions! I wish I could make this muscle pain go away. I often feel like an unoiled robot. Good luck to ya!
Boy, that's a hard one. I know lyme can be found in teeth. Are you improving otherwise with the antibiotics? I believe in chronic lyme but have never known anyone to get that diagnosis. I live in AK, which may be the reason; not much contact with lyme people.
It is such a devilish bacteria with it's 3 forms and ability to hide. Mine was late disseminated. Got ill in AZ in 2002, but it is suspected I got in while living in NY 93-95.
Maybe get another dentist opinion?
What areas were affected with the lyme? How did dr. determine chronic lyme? DO you live in lyme hotspot?
