I just read your post about taking Flagyl. I have been taking this med for three days now. My joint pain has gotten worse, I am dizzy and both of my ankles, feet and legs are swollen and feel really tight. Could this be from the medicine? And what kind of symptoms did you develop taking it?

Flagyl, as far as I am aware is the only drug to burst open the cystic form of lyme, which is resistant to regular antibiotics.  You're probably been flooded with spirochetes.  Try googling lyme and metronidazole until  you find something about this to check.

So answers to your questions, yes, its the meds.  And I ended up with severed fatigue, weakness, then burning pain down my spine and arm, which took months to resolve but accidently led to a diagnosis.
