I think I will take the one you guys have taken I dont think I am infested but it sounded like a good precaution to take anyway,
mebendazol is the standard deworming medication. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't depending on the amount or seriousness of infestation. I works against all worms.
If you aren't feeling better after taking this then you really need a full digestive workup.
I have had tapeworm , I know how horrible you can feel, and tapeworm is on of the most difficult of all worms to get rid of.
It is a good idea to have your stool tested every 2 weeks for 3 mo after treatment to make sure there is nothing active or new eggs.
I have not taken Humaworm myself yet but I have read about other people taking it. They pack their stuff with powerful herbs, so you could herx from taking it. Everyone reacts different. I think their website has a FAQ section and mentions what to expect for herxing, if any at all. Hopefully you don't at all.
Was something that ott70 put in her post , above
I took a tablet called 'mebendazol' just bought it from pharmacy - not sure which specific 'worms' this eradicates - but there were absolutely no side effects.
I don't know anything about Humaworm.
I have just been to the site I have ordered the Humaworm it cant hurt to use it... I have enough going on at presant do you get any side effects from taking the stuff ? has anyone any experience form taking it I should know and thanks for the information guys.
you probably all realise how easy it is to ingest worms or their eggs - e.g: gardening - eating salads - undercooked meat - handling wildlife/pets [especially puppies] - when I say worms I mean 'parasites' - it is easier to write
I guess it is a 'funny' subject - I never considered 'worms' untill my 'experience' - may always wonder if that is what 'it' was?
I will tell you what though I will be taking regular 'de-worming' tablet - Ha! Ha! - just thought- maybe I would be best consulting a veterinarian instead of LLMD !!! [vets. have more lyme knowledge]
take care 'all'

There's a lengthy discussion about parasites on the Lymenet board and the feeling is most Lymies have them. In fact, I would venture to guess most people have them period, but those that are healthy are able to keep them suppress with a functioning immune system.
Check out the Humaworm website. They have a symptoms list that you will probably find match most of what you are feeling. Not saying parasites are your only issue but it's probably another factor to consider addressing.

I think it's reasonable to consider parasites and you probably won't find too many doctors that would disagree. Proving it is a whole different matter though, kind of like proving chronic Lyme.
So are we saying that this is prevalent for folks with Lyme I havent seen it mentioned anywhare in symptoms lists.or is it just amnother little surprse we get .....LOL enlighten me guys before I faint.Maybe I better get some humorworm
I've read about this on another forum as well. I've heard about the Humaworm being good too. You can google humaworm for more info.
Parasite cleansing would be highly recommended. In some other forums, there are staunch supporters of cleansing out parasites/worms to help get rid of Lyme or at least immune-suppress it.
There are probably quite a few cleanses to consider out there. Hulda Clark is a name I see of some doctor that has a protocol. Humaworm is a brand I see suggested many times and it's probably something I am going to try here in a month or two. A lot of info about Humaworm at the "curezone" website. In fact, the company answers questions posted there.
