Peeling skin on hands & feet

I noticed last week that the skin on the bottom of Leighton's big toes is peeling.  Then, today I noticed that the skin on the tips of her fingers is also peeling?  Anyone have a clue why this is?  She peeled as newborn, but now?  Just curious to see what you all think.

OMG Blake too! I am glad you posted this because I just assumed it was something she did...like maybe when she is trying to "crawl" she accidentally rubbed it on something? How funny...I really didn't think anyone else's baby was going through this.

My thought is that she rubbed it on something kinda sharp (not really sharp  but you know). I don't know about Leighton but Blake is always trying to crawl (but not yet!) and get around so I can see where they could be rubbing their skin kinda raw.

Blake use to have the same thing on her nose...she would flip onto her stomach to sleep and her nose would get raw. Now it doesn't. I guess it has toughened up! haha

That is was I thought too... from trying to crawl, but I don't know.  It's not something I am hyper concerned enough about to call the doctor, but I was curious to see if anyone else's darling had this.  Glad to hear Leighton isn't the only one shedding!! haha

Mady is doing it too, we keep saying she's molting.  She even has a little blister on her pinkie toe, poor thing

Phin had a blister on his big toe and we thought it was from the exersaucer, so now we put socks on him when he plays in it.

Kele... there's another thought.  I didn't think about the exersaucer... but her hands?  I am not too sure her hands are from that, but maybe that is what is causing her toes to peel.  I am oging to put socks on her little feetsies and see if that helps :)

Brock has some peely skin on his fingers because of nails and cutting them.  If a little too much is left on the sides, he gets chunks of skin, and then I just go in and cut more nail off.  Cutting nails...what a pain!

i have a 2 yr old who is goin through the same thing.she has been walkin for a good amount of time now.dont know why she is having this goin on so i was lookin for info on it.
