1 month baby not yet cried -urgent plz help

I am Ritika,Actually I had come up with a very sensitive case of my
niece, who is now 1 month old but she is in ICU because

1.Since birth she had not yet cried at all not even once.
2.She is unable to feed milk herself .
3.She is premature baby of complete 8 month 4 days.
4.She was on oxygen for first 15  days.
5.Now she is feed milk with pipe she can't do feeding herself.

I request you to suggest some tretement for her recovery.or suggest us
as to why she is unable to cry and can't feed like other normal child
, Can u Please help us.Please reply soon.

Your niece was a premature baby;  premature babies often have lots of issues with breathing and feeding because they are born before they are ready to do this for themselves. If she has had to be on oxygen it is quite possible that her lungs are not yet mature or strong enough for her to produce a cry. Is she still in the NICU? Do the doctors there give her parents regular updates on the baby and of any complications she may have? I think her parents need to ask for a meeting with her doctors to find out what her progress is and to discuss any problems she may be having.
