-------Is this spotting or am is this from stress???------

Im a college student and not even ready for this kinda stuff......... But anyway, my period came this month. Which was about 2 or 3 weeks ago. (the 2nd/3rd week of the month) But i lately.... ever since my period ended, i've been having a dark brown/light brown discharge. Last night was the heaviest i've seen it..... it felt as if my period had just came, but it was dark brown.

I asked my mother who's a nurse but doesn't know about me having sex. She said its probably just from Stress.... and i HAVE been REAL stressed out lately.....

is it because im preg. or just from stress??

Well if I were you I would get a pregnancy test that picks up low hcg levels like the ANSWER test.  Take the test and if it is negative and you keep having the same problem wait a week and then retest.  Or go to the doctor and have a blood test done.  Anyways if you are not prgnant and the problem presists go to the doctor to find out what is going on.

     I would just suggest that you go get a blood test from your doctor instead of buying a HPT everyweek like i did last year.. Are you having any symptoms of pregnancy?? are you having unprotected sex?? are you on birth control?? i was gonna say it can be from stress ive had it happen to me from being really stressed out.. I also did that the first few months i was on birth control last year so it could be from a number of different things.. I would just go talk to your doctor about it instead of stressing more and more about it and making things worse.. Just go talk to your doc about it.. I belive you need to get a urine test then if that don't help then a blood test but also it could be just backteria from having sex I don't want to scare you but maybe you need to go get a chlomiedya test or even a gonariya test my bestfriend had it goneareia and didn't even know it until she thought she was pregnant and went the doc and found out that she had it but it was just like that..
