Have a great day ladies!!!!!!

I asked this yesterday or the day before and I did get one answer (thank you) but I thought maybe it got lost in the open forum.....

How good are my chances of being able to see the sex of the baby at 16 1/2 weeks?????

Thanks,

I think my u/s was at 18 weeks when I found out the sex.  I guess it all depends on your little one and if he/she cooperates.

Yeah, I think 16 weeks is still a bit early.  Even at my u/s at 18 weeks they still couldn't really say....

we had one at 17 weeks and they could have told us if the little peanut would have moved his/hers legs out of the way.  They say that if baby is a girl they should be able to see ovaries by 15 weeks, that's the biggest indicator.  If no ovaries probably a boy (at least thats what they told us)

To: Weightloss and breastfeeding
I started weightwatchers and although I am eating enough, I have lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks. I am drinking lots of water, more than before. But I don't seem to have as much milk. Alex is still getting enough, because he is gaining weight, but he has been a little fussier in the evening and wants to nurse more. I am not sure if he is going to go through a growth spurt or if my milk volume is down. Anyone have any opinions on it?

Some one said it took so many extra calories for breast feeding maybe with weight watchers diet its not enough. That could be why the production is done?!
Also they say by breast feeding you do lose weight that way too.

Kellymom.com is a great website for any breastfeeding questions.I've found that eating oatmeal helps keep my milk supply up after my daughter was having some issues with the afternoon feedings the last couple of weeks.

I lost almost 50 lbs within 3 weeks of having each one of my boys through breastfeeding alone. No dieting, no exercise, nothing. Both my boys gained weight fast and I was often told my breastmilk must have been cream rather than milk : )

I am not a glutton by any means, but i live off of more than salads, I never count calories/fat grams or worry about carbs. I eat a balanced variety of foods and drink lots of fluids, never had an issue with milk production and I have nursed 2 boys for a combined total of 25 months now : )
