I suppose it depends on what they feel like and where they are. I am crampy, too, but it is my uterus stretching. Sort of feels like the cramps you gets after eating a large meal and then going for a brisk walk. But these are low instead of on the sides. If you are concerned, describe them to your Dr. and see what he/she says. Mothers with GD have an increased risk for prematurePremature ejaculation Premature infant labor.
Thanks. I go to the doctor on Tuesday, and was planning to ask then. I know I've been doing too much getting ready for the holidays. I've been up and down the steps a thousand times with gifts, and wrapping things that I probably shouldn't be lifting. I should be able to take it easy now with most of the work behind me. My husband wants to help, but since he is in retail he is working a minimum of twelve hours a day. So, he is rarely here when I want to get things done. I'm still working full time myself. After Tueday, I'll have the rest of the week off, and the following week. I'll put my feet up then!
I had to quit working last week. I'm impressed that you are able to continue. You deserve to be able to put your feet up!! Your turn to enjoy and rest. How is your sugar doing?? Hope all is well.
My sugar is ok. I've had a couple readings that were elevated, but not by much. I haven't wanted to eat the past couple of days. I don't know what that is all about. But, yesterday I went way too long without eating and I got dizzy and nausiated.
Well I hope to win that one..lol, but I suspect we all would like to. I have also been crampy, and a lot of pain in my lower pelvic area...I feel like I couldnt possibly go another 5 weeks, but it is up to baby and when hes ready to come...I hope thats really soon..
While I'm sorry that you are also uncomfortable, it makes me feel better to know that I'm not alone. I was beginning to get a little nervous about it. I've read that it is a sign of preterm labor. I've had an easy pregnancy up to this point, so this has thrown me. Good luck!

How are you doing? Is your sugar under control?
Dana
Thank you for asking. Yes, my sugar is well controlled with this diet. I finally have gotten used to it. I haven't yet had a glucose test come back outside the "normal" range.

Glad to hear you're controlling your sugar well. It will be interesting to see who goes into labor first!!
