probably cause he thinks your pregnancy is normal and they are just monitoring it like they would any other pregnancy. If you are so worried call the doctor about the spotting. Spotting is rather common in early pregnancy.
normal= opposite of abnormal (this is good)
subsequent= generally means this is not the first
pregnancy= knocked up, bun in the oven, etc.
