6 dpo and BFP. Is it possible

6 dpo and BFP. Is it possible

Hey everyone. Wondering if anyone else had the following happen to them. I ovulated last Friday (3/2) and yesterday (3/7) and the day before I had brown spotting  just enough to cover a pantyliner. It has happened the same time of day both days and then completely stopped. Yesterday morning I took an HPT and got a faint line. This morning I used a different brand of test and tested again and got and even darker line. I have sore boobs starting yesterday and today and I have eaten a half a box of crackers this am from feeling hungry and nauseous! Isn't it too early to be getting a positive or should I believe the tests? I will be 40 in 3 weeks so this would be a great b-day present.

Congrats...I guess it is possible.....cause they say a positive is a positive....but you can get false neg. but not pos.  so I would get in to see your doctor as soon as you can.

I'm 40 too and am in the tww.  Maybe you ovulated earlier than you think?  I would get a blood test but I think it's a good sign that you got two positives.

just worried about the spotting the last 2 days! I am hoping it doesn't come again today! Also I just threw up all the crackers! LOL! Never heard of anyone else being this sick only 6 dpo with 2 positives. Seems a bit hard to believe.

im not sure about spotting but i heard some women spot every now and then during their first trimester... yours could be implantation although i doubt it too bec your hpt showed BFP already..... just go in and see the doctor, he might suggest a bloodwork to confirm it.... goodluck....

sticky dust to you.... ~*~*~*~*~*

ty ev1! The dates are right! I had my last period on the 18th of Feb and hubby and I romped on March 1,2,3,4 so the earliest it could happen was the 1st! Keeping my fingers crossed!

I'm not sure why the hcg is higher but I did read somewhere that the older you get the more likely you are to have twins.  I'm glad to see other people in their 40's!

It's very rare but not impossible. Someone has to be the one in a million! Good for you! I'm 41 and tww. I'm glad to see I'm not the only "AMA" out there. I'll be 6dpo tomorrow...hhhmmmm lol

What brand did you test with?

With it being this early I would suspect implant bleeding. Is it brown or red?

Tina don't know if you are still checking this post but mostly all of the spotting is brown and comes at the same time of day and always a little less than pantyliner. It has slowed down now I am now at about 12 or 13 dpo but still concerned as my doctor could not see me til next week. Any thoughts would be great!
