Implantation Bleeding? Am I Pregnant?

Hello everyone! My husband and I have just decided to try to have our first child. Last month, I was on the depo-shot, and my last shot was due the 8th of this month. We have had sex QUITE often, and I was not charting my ovulation. I have usually been pretty regular as far as my cycle goes, but today in the restroom, there was very pink blood on the bath tissue. I have been feeling a light, dull pain around my uterus, and my lower back has been hurting a bit ( but it might just be me stressing). I just took a HPT and it was negative. Does this sound like implantation bleeding? I know that only about 1 in 3 women experience implantation bleeding, but my doctor was is very negative and has been no help at all...

Can anyone help?

Have you had a period yet?  With most women we work with who come of Depo it can take up to 6 months or longer to get a normal cycle back.  I mean implantation bleeding could be a possibility but I would say it's highly unlikely (assuming you haven't had a normal period yet). Also if you do get your period it may still take a bit for you to start ovulating again. It might be wise to use an OPK or charting method to try and confirm that you ARE infact ovulating before you put yourself through the emotional side of the tww in the event that you aren't yet ovulating.  I hope you are and you get your BFP though!  Good luck!

Thank you! I'm hoping that I get back to normality quickly. I had only had 2 doses of the depo-shot, so I hoping that my cycle isn't TOO thrown off.

You wouldn't get a positive on a home pregnancy test as early as when implantation bleeding would occur, if implantation bleeding is what did occur.  That would be too early for there to be enough hCG in your system to affect the hpt.
