i just got done telling a friend of mine yesterday that i feel horrible for wishing this was over with....i mean we tried for so long to get pg with this child and now here i am complaining about it...i am just so miserable. i can't eat hardly anything (meaning amount wise) i have a weird cramp/pain on my side under my ribsRib cage pain and i can't tie my own shoes....not to mention that i have been getting that nasty i'm going to throw up taste in my mouth from time to time...
with ds i didn't get that i'm done feeling until i was about 38 weeks...i'm only 31!!

i'm doing better now that i can breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor, my asthma as you read below is acting up. I'm now 28 weeks and loving it, i've gained a total of 20lbs so far. I get to see my new Dr next Friday who will be delivering the baby, he's supposed to be a wonderful Dr and i can't wait to meet him. Baby for the moment is in the vertex position, and the Dr thinks that he/she might just stay that way till the end. I hope this littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys one doesn't end up turning on me, when did your peanut get into the vertex position?
Hey everyone! I'm 15 1/2 weeks and I'm showing. I'm so tired of people saying, "Are you having twins?" I don't think I'm that big! I was so excited to start showing, and now it's really not that fun. Everyone looks at my belly instead of my faceFace pain when they see me. Today someone came up to me felt my belly and said, "Yep, your having twins!" It must have started a rumor at work because later a another nurse came up to me and said, "Are you really having twins?" and, she was serious. I try to make myself feel better by telling myself that if I wasn't showing at all, I would be wishing I was. Has anyone else been kind of early to show like this? How did you deal with the comments? Do you think showing already is really that abnormal? It seems like from the belly galleries on web sites that how much people show really varies from person to person. I don't really think there is a normalNormal saline flush. I'm only 5'2'', do you think being so short makes me pop out a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys earlier? I haven't had an U/S yet, but I'm pretty sure there is only one baby in there! At least I hope so!

Recently Marines over in Iraq supporting this country in OIF wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffee hoping Starbucks might send some coffee to them in the battle zone and make it feel somewhat like home out there. Starbucks wrote back telling the Marines thanks for their support in their business, but that they don't support the War and anyone in it and that they won't send them any coffee.
So as not to offend them we should not support in buying any Starbucks products As a War vet and writing to you patriots I feel we should get this out in the open. I know this War might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting street to
street and house to house for what they and I believe is right. If you feel the same as I do then pass this along, or you can discard it and I'll never know.
Thanks very much for your support to me, and I know you'll all be there again here soon when I deploy once more.

Starbucks Refused to Send Donated Coffee to Marines In Iraq and Said the Company Does Not Support the War-Fiction!
Summary of the eRumor
An email from a Marine who says some Marines wrote to Starbucks to say how much they liked Starbucks coffee and to request some donated coffee for the Marines.
The eRumor says Starbucks responded by saying they don't support and war and will not send any coffee.
The writer urges a boycott of Starbucks.
The Truth
TruthOrFiction.com contacted Starbucks about the story.
Starbucks says that the originator of the email, Sgt. Howard Wright, and talked with him about his complaint.
He has now sent a follow-up email to his email list, which appears below.
Starbucks assured him of their support of the military and that the only reason any coffee was not donated was because the official Starbucks donation policy authorizes such gifts to officially designated public charities, including libraries and schools, and that the U.S. military or military personnel do not qualify.
It was not meant to be a comment on the war or the service of military personnel in the war.
The company said that there have been employees that have showed their support through donations of coffee.
Starbucks told us that many of the company's employees (called "partners" by Starbucks) receive one pound of free coffee each week and some of that coffee has gone to members of the military or related organizations.
For example, the employees in the Starbucks in Atascadero, California, decided to send their weekly free coffee to troops in Afghanistan and there are other such stories about Starbucks coffee finding its way into the hands of military personnel.
Here is Sgt. Wright's follow-up email after Starbucks spoke with him:
Dear Readers,
Almost 5 months ago I sent an e-mail to you my faithful friends. I did a wrong thing that needs to be cleared up. I heard by word of mouth about how Starbucks said they didn't support the war and all. I was having enough of that kind of talk and didn't do my research properly like I should have. This is not true. Starbucks supports men and women in uniform. They have personally contacted me and I have been sent many copies of their company's policy on this issue. So I apologize for this quick and wrong letter that I sent out to you.
Now I ask that you all pass this email around to everyone you passed the last one to. Thank you very much for understanding about this.

There have been a lot of chain letters going around the internet with the soul purpose of clogging peoples inboxes. There is a easy way to find out if it is fact or fiction. Simply go to google.com and type in a key word such as for the starbucks story i used "Sgt Howard C. Wright" and got the results posted above.
Sorry for the delay. It has been so hectic with the new baby. Anyway she was born on 10/29/04 at 3:19 am. My labor story is below.
Well, I didn't go into labor before Thursday so they did decide to have me go in on Thursday the 28th to start the process of inducing. Which I was really upset about. I did not want to be induced at all. We had to be at the hospital on the 28th by 8:30 pm. They were going to apply the Cytotek to my cervix and let me rest through the night and then start the Pitocin in the morning. Well they put the Cytotek on at almost exactly 8:30 and the resident said they would be back in at 1:00 am to check me and possibly to apply the Cytotek again depending on the change in my cervix. Well I began having contractions at about 9:00 pm, nothing major about a 2-3 on a pain scale up to 10. My husband and I were just playing cards and waiting because I was to nervous to sleep. Well the contractions were getting a little stronger but nothing unbearable. The resident came back in at 1:00 am to check me and she got this really suprised look on her face and she just said to the nurse "She is dilated to 5". So they FINALLY let me up and out of bed to be able to walk around. It seemed like once I was up the contractions were getting stronger with each one. My doctor got to the hospital at about 2:00 am and checked me and I was at a 6 and she also broke my water. I also decided to get the epidural at this time as well. So at 2:30 am they gave me the epidural. The doctor checked me at 2:50 am and I was dilated to 9+ she said there was a little lip on the cervix left so she wanted me to wait a few more minutes. She checked me again a little after 3:00 am and I was fully dilated. I was able to push her out in 3 contractions.
Kiara Jade was born on 10/29/2004 at 3:19 am. She weiged 9 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Her size was a big shock to us all because I only gained 21 pounds total and was measuring exactly where I should have been. Most people actually thought I looked small with this pregnancy in comparison to when I was pregnant with DD.
So everything went well and I was so relieved not to have to need the Pitocin. The epidural worked great and really took away most of the pain but I think because I got it so late into labor and I was progressing so quickly it didn't have the full effect (at least in comparing the epidural I had while in labor with DD) because I could still feel the pressure of the contractions and when I pushed her head out I could feel that perineal burning almost as if I didn't have any epidural at all. Overall everything turned out great in spite of the stubborn girl. I guess she just needed a little nudge to come out.
Also by the way, my doctor said she has never had anyone deliver with just the Cytotek. Before the induction I had asked her about it and she said she that it is a possibility but she has never experienced it with any of her patients, which I found kind of funny because I remember Christie saying that it is known to put people into labor and can cause really fast labors. So I guess for my physician this was a first. I kind of joked that it was a mind over matter thing and I was going to do whatever it took to avoid the Pitocin. LOL.
Missy - Congrats on your little girl. I am so glad that all went well for you.
Angel - Sorry Angel you got an email like that and I thank God it was only a hoax because I am addicted to their Hot Chocolate and I would not want to stop drinking it (although I would not anyway) Target is also my favorite store and I could not stop shopping there. I hope since we found out it was a hoax you will change your mind as well. I hope everything else is going well for you. If you ever have a ??? on an email you can always go to TruthorFiction.com like the other post did. It is a really interesting site. Well you take care. Bye
Congratulations on your new arrival! I was just curious as to how you pronounce Kiara? We are thinking about naming our baby (if it is a girl) Ciara pronounced keer-ah. My dh thinks everyone will think its see-ar-ah and we will be constantly correcting everyone.
Yesterday I had another appt. My uterus is the right size for 30 weeks. I have not gained any weight since the last appt(THANK GOODNESS!!!). Alex's head is down and his heartbeat is really good. OH and yesterday I had a pain in the middle of my tummy above my belly button, and felt where it was and I could feel the bottom of Alex foot, the outline and everything. It was so awesome.
I however feel like cramp. I have sinus infection yet again and cough all night. It is so bad Dh and I take turns sleeping on the couch so he can get some rest. I hate being sick. I think I am going to have to go to the doctor and get some meds for it, because it is not getting any better.
Mandi
Congratulations Missy, sounds like you had a perfect delivery. You go girl. Hope it's that easy for all of us. I love the names, they are beautiful!!! How are you feeling yourself?
Hey everyone. Nothing new with me. Just hanging around. I'm going for a nap in about 2 minutes, I could fall asleep just sitting here now. All is well. My next Dr. appointment in Friday, hopefully DH will be off to go with me. I'd really like him to start now that it's getting close, I have to go every week.
I have the feeling Im gonna end up with a big one too. The funny thing is the only thing that measures big on the ultrasound is her belly. I hope that doesnt mean there could be something wrong in her belly. I would think the doctor would say something if he thought that was a problem. Im just worrying too much I guess. Its strange, everytime I had an appt with my daughter something was wrong, and now everytime I go in everything is perfectly fine and I get this strange feeling that their lying to me. I know Im just being paranoid. Hope everyone is well.
I just wanted to let you know that when I was pregnant with my first son, I had a sinus infection for the last 5 weeks of my pregnancy and after I had him it just went away like magic. Funny huh?
yeah i noticed that too....i'm thinking all that false labor turned into real labor and she either has or is delivering.
well hopefully we find out soon.
i'm jealous.....i want my baby.
~nanci
Missy--Congrats! I'm so glad it all went smoothly and safely. If you're really ready to have the baby, Cytotec can often work wonders. It's when you aren't ready or are super sensitive to it that there can be possible problems.
I'm glad it worked for you. Now give that baby a kiss and a hug from me!
tresmathews - I too have noticed that kassimom hasn't been on since she said she was going to the doctor, and I beleive that was Monday. This is totally not like her. My conclusion is that she's at the hospital. I sure hope she get's on soon and lets us know how she is..
still a mom - I know how you feel with the sinus stuff. I went home early from work yesterday feeling like someone had beaten me up, terrible boby aches!! Today I'm sneezing my head off and coughing. I have also been having braxton hicks contractions so that dosn't make things any better. Did the doctor tell you about how much your baby is weighing now? I go to the doctor tomarrow, (I'm 32 weeks) and I'm gonna try to see if the Dr. will do an ultrasound because my little guy feels so HEAVY..
Glad to know all is going good with you, I remember that you have been through some rough times.
