? about 12week old's weight

she just turned 12weeks saturday her weight is about 15-17 pounds. she drinks about 5-6oz every 3 hours, and i havent started baby food yet. her dr. said about 4 months i could start her on some. my question is DO you remember what your baby's weight was at 12weeks?? (this is for anyone that had a big baby (9+pounds))

My niece was born 9lbs 3oz and shes about 10 or 11wks now and weighs I think 12lbs or more.

thanks i was just wondering that my baby was gaining too much. but her drs say she is fine, for her birth weight and her fathers size(hes about 6'1"-6'2" and is 245pounds) i love my little budda baby.:)

Hey if the doctors aren't worried, then i wouldn't worry either. Once she gets up and starts walking more than likely she won't be that chubby anymore. lol

my nephew was 10.5lbs at birth.  By four months he was 19.5 pounds.  Now he is an over 30 pound 11 month old.  The doctor has never said anything about him gaining too much weight.  He is quite chubby even though his parents are not big people.  It has taken him a little longer to walk to move all that weight but once he starts cruisin' I am sure he will thin out a bit.  He is very healthy and a great eater in the meantime!!
