It should say on the bottle.  If it doesn't, ask your pharmacist.

It should definitely say on the bottle how much to give based on age and weight. When in doubt, I would guess that the tylenol website would have the correct information too.

If you are dosing the infant tylenol, then it doesn't say on the bottle, they base it on weight, not necessarily on the age.  Call your pharmacist and they can figure it out, also ask your nurse for a chart.  Peds offices get tons of them from the companies and the nyou will have a reference since it is ever changing.  Hope she feels better soon.

oh and her dr. also told me to stay away from the tylenol colds, she said not to give her anything but the regular tylenol until she was two,

she just recently had a runny nose, i got her pediacare for runny noses and it cleared it up in one day (her runny nose was clear, not yellow or green, if your dd's is not clear i would take her in because she may need antibiotics)

my dd is 21 lbs and her dr. said 2 doses of the .8, but shes 18 months old, so i not sure if age is a factor as well, i agree call the pharmacy, i call them for everything

Pedicare will have the real pseudoephedrine which may help if she needs it for congestion, but she may just need something like Tylenol cold for the runny nose.  Honestly, I pretty much stuik to the regular Tylenol and let the nose run to clear out the sinuses.  You can use some of those meds to help dry it up though so baby won't be miserable.  The dosing may be different on the Tylenol cold than it is for the regular stuff though, so I would call and check, and mention the symptoms to see what they think.  My little one now is 16 lbs. and 4 months and he gets 1.6 ml of Tylenol too, but he's a big boy and really long too.  At 10 months it could be anything including teething.  My first son got so stuffy and runny from his teeth and we stuck to the motrin because  it worked best for him.  You can use it after 6 months, so for now we use Tylenol when needed.  Anyway, I would call to be sure.  Any of htose meds you buy otc will have dosing for ages 2 and up and the weight may start out higher, but it really is adjusted to the age and weight.

Sorry to hear that Lily's not feeling well.  Poor baby.  PediaCare (or KidCare, generic) was advised by my ped to give to Ariella for a stuffy nose.  I believe it says on the bottle that it helps runny noses as well.  I hope she's feeling well soon.  Did you measure her temp?
