11 Days Late

11 Days Late

Hello, I'm 23 years old. I am now 11 days late for my period. I have taken 2 tests, both with early morning urine samples, and they have both come out negative. Normally, right before I get my period my breasts hurt real bad and I get really bad cramps. It's always been that way. My period has never been irregular before. Physically I feel fine. Last week I did have a slight fever and was sweating more than normal. There are just no signs of my period and I'm a little concerned I might be pregnant even though the pregnancy test came out negative. Is that possible?

when did you last test?  if it was today, 11 days late, it is probably right, you aren't pg.  if it was a week ago, you should test again, sometimes if you test right when your period is due, it can still become positive a couple of days later.  if it is truly negative, you should schedule a visit to your dr., because something isn't right, and you want to make sure you don't have a problem beginning.

have you been pg before? if so did a hpt work before some people they don't work. and do you know when you ovulated because if it was late then you could not really be late yet or only be a couple of days late and it is to early to test. last month i ovulated 9 days late. so it happens if you don't get it soon go to the dr and see what is going on.. it also could be a chemical pregnancy good luck

I tested on Sunday. I went to my doctor this morning and she ran some blood tests. Let see what comes out! I'll post the results tomorrow.

No, I've never been pregnant before and this is the first time I've ever been late enough to even think I was. I'm not sure when I was ovulating. I don't keep track of it, because I'm not actively trying to have children. Thanks for the comment!
