14 Week Prenatal / Surgery follow up Visit!

I went to my doctor today for another follow up on my surgery (which was 9 days ago) and my 14 week prenatal visit.  The baby doppler easily heard my baby's heartrate (a strong 151+) and then they did an u/s to check on the baby (he was moving all around but not as much as before).  So far the baby is looking wonderful.  I talked to her about the concerns I was having and how some other women here have had cord accidents, and from the way the doctor was talking they will probably be taking the baby a little early because of my high risk status.

I inquired about a few things of pain I am having with my surgery and the doctor checked it out and apparently I have a bruising that is causing most of my pain.  Nothing too big and she's happy with the way the incision is healing.  

Had my thyroid blood test and urine culture today, following up with my Graves' Disease and no idea why a 2nd urine test was done (sorry if TMI).  Hopefully those results will be back by tomorrow or the day after.  

Oh, on the weight gain front, I started this pregnancy at approximately 210lbs.  I am now 204lbs, before the surgery I was about 215lbs.  So, I am happy, I am large, but most of the weight I lost was because of the tumor they removed, and now I know I was less than 200lbs before the pregnancy.

I am glad things are going well for you...it sounds like you have a very healthy baby in there.
I'm glad the surgery is over and it went well and you are on your way to a full recovery.
