15 wks, don't feel movement yet - is this ok?

by Hulahut, Jan 11, 2007 12:00AM
Hi: I've been all over this site and see that it's all over the map between 13 and 22 weeks when people feel the baby move.  I am a bit anxious and wonder if it's normal for a first-timer being preggo to not feel movement at 15 wks.  Would love to know!  Thanks!

I didn't feel mine until about 18 weeks, and not for sure until 20. Now at 33 weeks, there's no doubting it. 15 is possible, but still early. Mine felt like gas bubbles earliest on.

You are fine. I am almost 23 weeks and I have only been feeling more consistent movement the past 2 weeks.  I felt little flutters off and on but not everyday around week 16. Good luck to you! :)

I'm pregnant with my third child, second was m/c at 11 weeks, but I never really felt the baby until 20 weeks. My placenta is across my belly so acts as a pillow. But now I'm 23 weeks and it is like he is dancing on my cervix all the time and kicking my bladder... lol

This is my first pregnancy, and I am 18 weeks 6 days and have just recently (like a few days ago) started to kind of feel what might be some fetal movement.  I told the Dr. this yesterday, and she wasn't concerned at all.

with my first pregnancy, i worried like crazy..rented a doppler just to know she was still ok in there...

my mw told me that sometimes some babies are just a bit lazier than others and i had one of those babies...

i didn't really start to feel her moving around in there until i was well into my 5th month...it drove me crazy just bc all my friends were chatting around 14-18wks about how much they were feeling their babies (i was just telling them they had lots of gas....hehehe)...

you will start feeling your little one soon and then there will be days you wish she/he would quiet down a bit..esp at night....

I can't recall feeling my 1st baby before the 18th week.  With my 2nd, they told me feeling movement at the 14 week was too soon and I was crazy to be saying I was feeling something, they were wrong by the way, we could watch my stomach move at that time, not a lot but it did.  This time (Due 8/25/07) I'm hoping to feel something soon, because it is high risk I cannot wait to feel some kind of movement to know the baby is alright.
