17-18 weeks prego abdominal pressure/pain

Hello everyone... I am having some issues that I'm hoping someone can help me out with. Yesterday all of a sudden I started to have alot of pressure/pain from below my boobs down to a little past my bellybutton. I'm assuming that it was gas, so I tried to go to thes restroom, and well... everything except gas came out. I tried laying in every position possible. to the point that I actually laid flat on my stomach (I'm praying it didn't do anything to the baby). Still nothing. I took 1 chewable extra strength gas-x.. nothing.. after eating what I could.. I took another.. nothing. I tried burping as much as I could, but there was still discomfort. Laying down was the only thing that would make me feel better. I somwhow got through the night, and when I woke up, the left side was fine... but the right is still uncomfortable, tender, painful. If I press on my right side in between my ribs and my hip... it's tneder. Any suggestions???

Is it only on your right side?  Do you have a fever or are you vomiting? It could be round ligament pain, or an appendicitis (if only on the right side).  I would put a call in to your doctor just to be on the safe side.  Take care.

No vomiting or fever. Actually if I press on both sides, they are both tender and I feel like I'm pushing something together...  I'm not having any gas from "down there", but I am able to burp. It's not a bad pain like it was before, but it's pretty uncomfortable.

It's probably round ligament pain, I would tell your doctor at your next check up.
