I am 7 days late for my period now and I took 2 pregnancy tests the day of my missed period and a couple day after and there was a very faint line. Had to look in light to see it. Should I buy another one? I have no insurance, and not enough money to pay to get a blood test at the doctors. What should I do? And does anyone think I'm pregnant. The only signs I have is constant headaches, missed period with spottingVaginal bleeding between periods a week earlier, very mild cramps once in a while, heartburn everyday, and I can all of the sudden smellSmell - impaired Stools - foul smelling anything far away. I'm 18 and scared please.
A line is a line (as Kassi says it)........no matter how light or faint. I think there is a very good probability that you are pregnant......of course I lack the plaque on the wall that calls me a doctor. I agree with Nanci, go into your local health department or planned parenthood for a test and someone to talk too. If you aren't pregnant then maybe they can get you on some sort of birth controlControl Control rx if you aren't wanting children yet....I assume you aren't since your heading is 18 and still scared.
As for wether to take another test or not.......If I were you, I would. Being days later you will get a darker line if you are pregnant. However, if you still see a faint line you still could be.
Best of luck to you,
Vikki
Look in your phonebook and find a Planned Parenthood, they will do the test for free (or a minimal fee) and set you up with a Social Worker who can help you get insurance if you are pregnant. If you are, you most likely are eligable for state or government sponsored health insurance, and so would the child. If it turns out you aren't pregnant you could still use Planned Parenthood as a resourceResource optisource, and get yourself on some Birth controlControl Control rx since you obviously don't want to get pregnant.
good luck to you and i hope all works out for you.
