1st round on Clomid

Hello all!  I just started my first cylce of Clomid!  I am very excited, and nervous at the same time.  I was just wondering if anyone has had any sucess with taking Clomid, or know of anyone that has had positive results using it?  I really want it to work!

I tried clomid for several months!!  It did not work for me.  We ended up having to have IVF and are now pregnant with twins.  Everybody is different, so good luck to you!!

I tried clomid for only one month and I will be 5 week on Sunday, but like Kelly said everyone is different.  Good luck!

Were you trying for a long time before you went on the clomid?  I am being nosey, but I am asking because a very good friend of mine has been trying for more then 2 years and she is on her 3rd round on clomid with no luck yet,  I want her to get pregnant so badly...  I was just courious how long you TTC before trying clomid? (if you dont mind me asking)

Oh no!  I don't mind at all!  Well I had a miscarriage in January 2006, and I have been trying since then.  So, about a year and a half or so.  Tell your friend good luck, and try to relax.  Easier said then done most of the time for me, but I am trying to stay relaxed.  I am hoping it works for me, because I want a little one so badly.  My husband and I have been married for almost 1 year but together for 10, and we are more then ready!  My best friend is pregnant, and a friend of mine at work also, so it sometimes can be a bit tough.  But, I have a good feeling this time around!  I had a friend get pregnant off of Clomid the 1st cycle, and then 3 months after she had her baby she got pregnant again...with twins!  So, I am thinking positive....

Good luck with it!!  I know it can be hard-  I had a miscarriage in Feb of this year and I had friends who were pregnant and it was really hard-  now I am 13 weeks and I know that is hard on my friend!  I hope you both get pregnant soon!!

I took 6 rounds of Clomid - 2 @ 50 mg, 2 @ 100 mg, and 1 @150 mg, then took a break, and on my 6th round (again starting over at 50 mg) I got pregnant with triplets!  Two are identical and one isn't, though, so I only ovulated two eggs that time.  I was so discouranged and disappointed that it didn't work the first few trys, but hang in there and don't lose hope. Good luck.

We did our first round of clomid in late march of 2005.  We found out in April that we were pregnant on the first try with our son.  He was born in Jan of 2006.  He is now 18 months and thriving.  We had unexplained infertility.  We also thought we wouldn't be able to get pregnant again without fertility but it turns out we were wrong.  When my son was 3 months old we found out we were pregnant again with my 2nd son who was born in Dec.2006.  Soo clomid worked for us and hopefully it will work for you on the first try as well.  Good Luck

This is my first round of clomid I started July of this year at 50mg. I started my period the 15th of July and started clomid on day 3-7. I went to have a u/s and it showed that the lining of my uterus was thin and it also showed 2 eggs that were not yet mature. I went to have another u/s 3 days later and the u/s showed that the lining of my uterus was slightly thick not by much or as thick as they want it to be it also showed a 3rd egg this time 1 on the right and 2 on the left whick aren't mature enough but growing. 1 egg measured 10 the other 2 measured 11 and 12 they said with taking clomid the measurement they are looking for is 18. So now I have to have another u/s 3 days later which will be on the 30 of this month and hopefully the u/s shows exactly what they want to see...

Hopefully it works for the both of us 1st time around and for all of the woman that is trying Baby dust to us......... Good Luck and God Bless!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I conceived my oldest son on my 2nd round of clomid 50mg.  He was a twin, but I m/c one of them.

Honestly, no we didn't try too long before we were put on clomid. We tried for 6 months, but i have PCOS (which I only found out a few months ago), but I was told years ago that I would have trouble having a baby because I have never gotten AF on my own without being on BC or without taking provera.
