2-month vaccinations update

We decided to break up the vaccinations, so Eliza only got the DTaP, Hep B and IPV combo last Wednesday.  I'm a big fan of homeopathy, so here's the regimen I used to make her recovery easier: I gave her 4 pills of Thuja occidentalis 30c before we left the house and as soon as we got back.  Right after the shot, while still in the drs office I gave her two drops of Rescue Remedy- she stopped crying immediately- and Tylenol.  After about 1 1/2 hours she was fussy and clingy so I gave her Pulsatilla which calmed her.  She developed a very slight fever but didn't get a rash... in fact a few hours later I couldn't even see the spot of the vaccination.  The next day she was fine- no sign of soreness in her leg.  She did have a slight rash on the back of her scalp about the size of a quarter, but I'm not sure if that was there before or not.  

Papa's going to take her in for the other two (Pneumoccal and HIB) next week.  He probably won't give her "Mama's witch medicine" afterwards, so we'll see how she does without the homeopathy.

Homeopathy... I first encountered it in England when I got really sick (on my honeymoon :-( ) and it cured me in no time.  It's too complex to explain while typing with one hand (sleeping baby) but chemically they're just sugar pills.  A lot of people say they're just placebos or quackery, but I've had them work on my pets too, so I'm a believer.  The trick is to find the exact remedy that fits the symptoms, so it helps to have a remedy kit instead of buying them piecemeal.

Rescue Remedy is a Bach flower remedy... like homeopathy but focused on treating emotions.  RR is good for any kind of shock or stress... great for job interviews too! ;-)
