2nd blood HCG test and open forum if needed

Hello! I just got the results of my HCG test that I had this morning. On Monday it was 48 and as of today it was 153! It tripled and I feel so much better now! Thanks fr the good thoughts and keep them coming.

Hi everyone! I had a pregnancy test on the 08/15/07 and on Friday my Dr. called and said it was positive. Now I didn't believe it because of all my problems and because my husband and I have been trying for almost 2 years. Anyway my Dr. ordered me another for that same Friday and he called me the same day and said it was another positive pregnancy test and "my number was 49" and that every 48hrs that number is suppose to double. So I have another test on Monday the 20th to see if it has doubled. Can anyone explain to me the significance of the number I'm so confused.
