I will be starting my 2nd dose of Clomid days 5-9.
When should I start taking the OPK tests? I have a package that came with 7.
I was told to start BDing every other night starting on Day 8. Does that sound corrent?
Any input would be great. My husband got a new job, and along with it comes insurance. We don't have to pay for our insurance, unfortantly, this insurance doesn't cover the cost for fertility medication.
Anyway, any suggestions on when to start testing and if day 8 for bding is a good start.
Thanks for answering my question. I was told that for testing you need to know how many days are in your cycle. For me my cycles are 28 days so I am supposed to test on the 11th and everyday thereafter till I get a positive. So depending on your cycles add or subtract a day from what i have. That is what I have been told, good luck.
Don't worry about taking you clomid days 5-9, I did and got pg.(sixth round) unfortunately for me it ended in m/c (my third) and am now going to get genetic testing with dh to find out if this is the reason. My doctor told me to start doing opk's on day 10 (but I had a short cycle) so if you have a 28 day cycle you could start on cd 10 and you would have enough tests to get to cd 17 and will probably get a positive opk before you use them all. I wanted to wish you good luck and hopefully you'll get your bfp soon!
I think I'll start on day 10 as well with the OPKs. I've tried the BBTs but I wake up at different times and am not able to take them when I should each morning before getting up.
However, I don't dare to go against my doctors recommendations, he's been there for me with 2 prior pregnancies.
I am interested though in taking estrogen suppliments. Are there any over the counter?

So, we'll see what happens.
Thanks again!
