when does second trimester start? my first time being pregnant and im still concern about a lot of stuff. which prenatal vitamin is the best to take? i am 10 weeks pregnant.

Some say that the first trimester ends at 12 weeks, others say at 14 weeks. However most people say 12 weeks.

Shouldn't your doctor advise you on which prenantals to take? Are you not taking anything yet? You should start aking them before you get pregnant, or as soon as you find out your pregnant.

i think it officially starts at 14 wks (40 weeks doesnt exactly fit into 3 trimesters). i can't stomach prenatals so i take supplements with folic acid. if nothing else, get yourself some folic acid supps.

You should have had at least one dr appt by now and they should have asked and made sure that you were taking a prenatal vitamin. Have you seen a dr yet??

yes i have seen my doctor. my first doctor app. when i was about 8 weeks. i told them that i was throwing up from taking the prenatal vitamins and she told me to try a new one.. maybe flintstones 2 a day so ive been taking that ever since..maybe i should try another prenatal..i already had my first ultrasound..  so cute :) well thanks for the responds. i appriciated!! when do you think i will get to hear my babys heart beat? my next app. is on the 31 of this month. and when do i find out what im having? im about 12 weeks i think.
