2songbirds.... heard heartbeat on fetal doppler at home @ 9 wks 4 days!

by baboojamaica, Jun 18, 2007 12:00AM
Hi Jenn!

Thanks again for the doppler!  I used it for the first time yesterday and heard the heartbeat after about 10 minutes!  It was so amazing!!! Just beating away at 164 beats per minute! I was skeptical because I had heard it could be at least 10 to 12 weeks before you could hear it, but it was plain as day.  It has given me the peace of mind that I needed.  I would reccomend the doppler to anyone!

Congrats...how fun!

I am 10w3d and go in a couple of days to the ob...hoping we can hear it then -- I am encouraged that you found your baby's at 9w4d!

What type of doppler (brand and any other important info) is it?  I'd love to get one.

Good  luck with your pregancy!

Hey april, I am sooo glad to hear it worked out for you! And you got it so quick! Isn't that doppler just awesome?! That's why I was sad to see it go :-(, but I know it went to a good home :-)

I"m really glad you got to hear the hb so quickly. I was checking my email to see if you had emailed me any questions, but I guess you're doing good.

If I were you, I'd hold onto to that doppler until you're sure you're done having babies like I did. OTherwise you may regret getting rid of it.

I"m really glad you like it. (hey, now you know what kind of cell phone I have)

:-)

I have to ask...did you cry when you heard it? I did with my last baby only b/c I had a m/c a couple months prior and it was so relieving to hear that wonderful tapping sound.

wonderme: it was a BB250A on babybeat.com. I sold it to her, and it was absolutely an awesome doppler.

april-don't forget to contact the company for the replacement cord to the computer. Just say your dog ate it (really did). And did you record the hb on the doppler? I did the last time and took it into work for people to hear it.
