3 negative pregnancy test no period.....

by christi81, Jun 02, 2009 06:42PM
I have had 3 negative pregnancy test and still no period. my last period was 4/28. on a normal 28 day cycle, i should have started my period 5/26, today is 6/2 which makes me a week late. i had a blood test today and im waiting for the results. Should call tomorrow. my question is has anyone ever been in this situation and ended up pregnant? if not, what was the problem? i don't have thyroid issues, had some stress (only because i haven't started yet). is this normal? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am in the exact same boat as you!! I am not on birth control because it causes yeast infections like you wouldn't believe so I quit taking it a long time ago. But my last period was on 5/27-6/1 and I always start between the 25th and 28th of the month. My and my fiance had sex a lot between those times and we do not use condoms he pulls out before he cums but now I am over a week late my breasts are so sore that he can barley touch them and I have thrown up after I eat like 5 times but I have taken 2 hpts and they both said neg. My mom showed neg tests with me till she was 5 months pregnant with me and even then it was her 3rd blood test. We are both convinced i am preg but I don't know whats going on dr. can't get me in until next week or the week after....does anyone have any suggestions?

Modern pregnancy tests will be positive by 2-3 weeks after conception.  Use a sensitive test, first morning urine, and follow all directions exactly.

If your first test is negative, repeat it in a few days to a week, if you don't get your period.  If that next test is negative and you still don't get your period, see your doctor if you are not comfortable simply waiting until your next period.
