33 1/2 weeks pregnant

33 1/2 weeks pregnant

Hi ladies! It has been awhile since I have posted anything on here but I need some advice! I am 33 1/2 weeks pregnant and since last night I have been having these very very sharp pains in my tummy whenever the baby moves. It's like a ripping kinda feeling.I don't really know how else to describe it...All I do know is that it's very very painful. I almost dread it when my baby starts to move. I have had alot of pressure in my croch also. Has anyone had this before? I called the doctor last night and they just said is could be ligament pain from streching but it doesn't feel anything like that. Should I call and go in?

Does it feel like contractions.

If you are unsure, you should just go to the ER, and get them to monitor you. You don't want to have the baby this early.

well I called and good ole military doc's let me tell ya. So they basically told me it sounds likes round ligament pain. Even though I know exactly how that feels and it feels nothing like that. I explained that to them and they said well we don't knwo what we can do for you. If youw ant come on in and we can hook you up to the monitor to see if you are contracting if that puts yoru mind to ease. ATTITUDES! anyways soo I haven't gone in yet. I think I am going to though just to make sure cause I have starting contracting just about eery 5 mins. SOOO WE WILL SEE!

Im 29 weeks tomorrow and I get the same thing. I get it right underneath my belly button or right next to it. It is very very painful and it's ONLY when she moves. I feel the same way when she starts to move I dread it. Luckily I haven't felt it in almost a week, I think she found herself another spot! Thank God!! I know what you're saying. And it does not feel good, try getting on like your hands and knees and rcking a little and see if you can move her somehow! Good luck I hope this passes soon!

Do the Dr.'s give you any reason why you are getting the pains?  If they were contractions they would give you meds, but if it's just pains, sounds normal.  Talk to your regular ob Dr. and see what they say.  I had way more pain and discomfort with my second baby, I think you are so stretched out from the first, and my first was a large baby.  You have less support for the belly and baby.  My pelvis hurt a lot more too.  It was to the point where I would stand all day at work, even my lunch because it hurt too much to change positions.  Try taking Tylenol and resting some and give your Dr. a call.  I know out here you don't get much accomplished at our ER.  They treat the immediate symptom and refer you to the Dr.
