4 month old with high triglycerides

My 4 month old has a triglyceride count of 645. Is there anyone out there that has any information on this?

What does your pediatrician say?

It should be fairly easy to google "infants and elevated triglycerides" and find info.  Good luck.

I am having a hard time finding information due to the fact that my sons pediatrician has never in her 15 years even seen this in an infant. We are going to Childrens Hospital next week and seeing a pediatric cardiologist. Even when talking to the receptionist to make the appt.she was alarmed at the age of our son and paged me through to the nurse and got us in ahead of the 2 month waiting list. I know there was a posting back in March of a mother writing in about her 8 month old having this, but I can't seem to respond to it, it must have expired. I will have to wait until next week to find out more, but was hoping that someone out there would maybe have a similar story.

  mounths .she is home now but just a little over 8lbs, every time they try to give her any fat , her
triglycerides go up over a thousand, once they were over 3000. the dr. does not know the answer
either, although they are  sending her for some genectic testing??? please let me know if you
