4 week 4 day ultra sound

4 week 4 day ultra sound

I am a 21 year old female and according to my last period date i am 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant, i had a ultra sound done at 4wks 4dys and there was nothing showing, no sac, no baby. Is this normal, was it just to early? I thought we would be able to see a sac but we couldn't, and now it has me and my husband worried cause this is our 1st baby..Would someone please relieve my stress and let me know if this has happened to anyone else, thank you.

Its too early.  Why did they do an ultrasound?  Are they doing HCG levels?

I'm sure they'll repeat the ultrasound later, when your levels are high enough.

I wouldnt worry at all. 4wks is WAY too early to see anything..... I had a u/s at 4wks an NOTHING was seen, no yolk sac, no baby, no gestational sac. I don't even know why they would do a u/s that early to tell u the truth. For someone with no medical problems all a u/s that early would do is scare someone.
You should get another u/s in 2wks. There should be a lot more there that time. P.S. Now I'm 28wks pregnant so yes 4wks is just plain too early to see anything.

I'm surprised they did an u/s that early. Usually they do it around 6 weeks. I had one done at 5 weeks 2 days and they couldn't see anything besides a sac. I went back 5 days later and heard the heartbeat and the fetal pole. Don't worry you are probably just early.
