5 1/2 weeks, slight brown spotting- Missed Miscarriage?

Hi there...I am a first time user of this site and the info has been so helpful. Based on my LMP I am 5 wks, 4 days pregant. I have taken a couple of pregnancy tests, all positive, with an increasingly darker plus line. I have missed my period and have key symptoms of fatige, frequent urination and sore bbs. Anyhow, this weekend when using the restroom I found a very small amount (i.e. smaller than my pinky nail) of combined brownish-clear discharge. This happened again later that day. Nothing since. No cramping or abdominal pain at all. Although still tender, my bbs are not as sore and I am wondering if this discharge could indicate a missed misscarriage. I have also not had morning sickness or food cravings and so I am kind of worried. Any advise or shared experiences will help. Will try to get in for a sonigram asap. Thanks again!

Hi there, well I am 7wks, I had brown spotting at about 6 wks. Had an u/s and everything was fine. It is common to spot in the beginning, and if you do brown is defintly what you want to see, or light pink. It could be caused by a nomber of things that do not harm the baby. I think you mentioned no or little symptoms. zUntill about 61/2 I was wondering too where the symptoms were, well a few days later they hit. Count yourself lucky if you dont get many symptoms. As far as sore bb's, I know this is very common, mine arent sore one little bit. I dontknow if this is because i recently stopped breastfeeding or just that I got lucky. Butlike many other pregnancy symptoms it is not a definiteone that everyone gets. A friend of mine who never nursed was pregnant and never had sore breasts. Well I hope all my rambling helps ease your mind. If your worried just take it easy(no sex, or exercize) till you go see your doctor...

I also had spotting around 6 weeks.  I was nervous because I had a previous miscarriage.  I had an ultrasound and everything was fine.  Good luck to you!
