5 weeks pregnant and no symptoms

5 weeks pregnant and no symptoms

Hi there,
I am wondering if it is normal not to have any symptoms at 5 weeks? The only symptoms I have are very hungry all the time and sore bbs.....Im concerned, I have a u/c next Monday, but I am wondering why none of my symptoms kicked in at 5 weeks? Anyone had the same?
I already had 1 m/c at 6 weeks, so I am concerned...

symptoms are not a necessity of being pregnant

I really did not get that hungry all the time feeling until I was over 4 months.. and even then I felt hungry but filled fast.

You are 5 weeks pregnant, but technically the embryo has only been implanted for about 3 weeks.  It may take longer to feel symptoms, if you feel any at all.  As Kim said, symptoms are not a necessity of being pregnant.

My only symptoms were sore breasts, but I ALWAYS got sore breasts before and during my period.  I only had morning sickness 2 times, and one of those was because there was a virus going around.  So, I didn't really have actual symptoms of pregnancy until later on when my joints were spreading like crazy.  :)

Try not to worry too much.  Enjoy your pregnancy!

Congrats!  And congrats on your MedHelp 1 year anniversary!  :)

Thank you girls!!!
I guess I am going insane because I want to see the embryo on the u/c and since another 6 days of wait - I am filling my head with worries....I also got that hungry the first time I got preggo at around 3 weeks and then a m/c at 6...so I just can't wait till Monday..I just want to feel pregnant, I guess..
I, on the other hand, never get sore bbs when AF so I know my horomns are rising but don't know whether a fetus is developing yet..Anyway, i am trying to put my mind at ease :)
Thanks!

Not having symptoms during your fifth week may not be a problem at all.  I did not have any symptoms when I was at that stage.  My symptoms did not start until almost my thrid month.  Try not to worry so much.  But do ask lots of questions when you go to see your doc.  Remember, not all pregnant women experience the same symptoms during pregnancy.  Good Luck!
