51 days after miscarriage and no menstral period

Hi I had a m/c on 11/2/04 at 15 wks pregnant and I still have not gotten my 1st menstral cycle, so i went to do blood test on 12/21/04 which my HCG came back at 5.3 and progesterone at .74. Can this mean that i am pregnant again? The dr said progesterone was too low for pregnancy but is there a possibility it's just too early in pregnancy? I also had low progesterone levels when i was pregnant and was given crinone vaginal gel. I will go back on 12/27/04 to retake blood test. Do you think i should take some of that vaginal gel and put it on just in case i'm pregnant again? Can the progesterone affect the test if i apply it and i am not pregnant?

D and C. Did you have a d and C? Do you know why you lost the preg. so late? We have never figured it out. I never actually M/c, just went in for an appt. and no heart beat. I am now 13 wks. preg. and very nervous. If the gel is safe, I say go for it. Good luck and keep us posted.

Just going to give you my side of what happened to me after miscarriage. I went for an ultrasound @12wks and there was not heartbeat. At 16 wks. i miscarried and it was horrible. 2 wks after that i thought i had a period (or something like it, never went to the dr). Then 45 days later had my 1st period and 65 days after that had my 2nd period. I to am wondering why i'm all screwed up. i am also type 2 diabetic and have hypothyroidism. Both are controlled though and my 1st pregnancy was a healthy boy who is now 3 1/2 yrs. old. I have had 2 m/c since then. Wondering if anyone has had similar troubles. Just letting other women know they are not alone!!
