7 Weeks Pregnant--Lower Back Pain

by lucy82, Sep 03, 2007 03:14PM
I am having a lot of lower back pain, sort of like cramping.  Is this normal?  I haven't had any spotting or other cramping to accompany it, but it is getting kind of bad and it has been constant for the past couple of hours.

I had lower back pain in first trimester but it wasn't cramping. It was actual back pain. I read that it is due to the increase in progesterone and the softening of the ligaments.
