8 at home positive tests 2 negative at doctors

8 at home positive tests 2 negative at doctors

So! My period is over 4 weeks late. I don't know if any of you have every experienced this but, this is what's been going on this past week.

Sunday night I took a pregnancy test just out of curiosity. I figured my period was late from the stress of moving, visiting family and attending 2 concerts (all in two weeks).
It was positive. I made my boyfriend rush out to get 4 more. I took 3 of them, all positive. All different brands (just to be sure).
Monday morning I took another one ..call me crazy, but we were so excited I just didnt want to be disappointed. Positive! Clearly!
Tuesday morning, another one. Again positive.
I have a kidney stone and was experiancing a decent amount of pain so I ended up going to emerg to get it checked out. Their urine test was NEGATIVE for pregnancy and so was the qualitative blood test (though I have read these can be false due to lab procedures, methods, too early.. etc).
I was so devastated and I couldn't believe it that when I got home at about 3 AM from the hospital (that would be Wednesday now this morning) I took another test. Annnnd guess what.. POSITIVE.
I took two more tests this afternoon and they were both positive. Im sick with stress so I went to the walk in clinic (about an hour after my last at home test) and explained to the doctor what was happening.. and he has no idea whats going on.. but my urine test there was again negative.

Has anyone EVER had this happen before? This is beginning to match a pregnancy I previously had when I was 13 weeks pregnant before they even found out what was going on...

Thanks

well it is just measuring a hormone in your urine, so every once in a while tests come up differently. the most accurate test should be your first pee of the day with the most concentrated amount of hormone. people often think that the doctors have better test strips for pregnancy then the ones you buy and its not true. my advice to you is this: play it safe and assume you are pregnant, take care of yourself and wait a week or two. retest yourself and if its positive then go back to a clinic and retest with them. the longer you are pregnant the more hormones that you will have indicating so. be patient and wait it out for a week or two.
