8 month old loosing weight

hi, my thrd child weight at birth 8 pounds very healthy, now he is 8 months old and i am breatfeeding still, but seem he is feeding lesss, i had to kind it to laydown and constantly offer the breast, now he has 6 teeth and seem more interested in food, i just give him i compota a day and half o less of fruit, i dont want restrict him the solid intake but he seems less interested in breasfeeding and i think he lose a pound already. i am worry

At 8 months, let him eat whatever bites of (appropriate) solid food that he wants.  Some babies, in fact, self-wean this early.  Cut up anything he might choke on into tiny pieces, and read online guides to what babies can eat at this age, but you can give him a wide variety of foods.  Your health-care provider might have a booklet or flyer about the topic also.  I would check his weight and keep track on a chart, if he is really losing weight, contact his doctor.
