8 year old daughter's liver levels raised

by tami27, Jun 25, 2008 10:39AM
My 8 year old daughter fell and hurt her stomach, right under her ribcage. She was in severe pain. When blood test came back at the emergancy room, we were told that her liver levels were raised a little. The doctor said that the raised levels had nothing to do with the fall. Is this true, she did fall and land on the curb where the liver is located?  He said that he wants to repeat the blood test in 5 days and it could be just an error with the lab test. My question is, what could cause her to have higher than normal levels in her liver? She is very healthy, she is rarely ever sick at all. We would have never known about the levels in her liver being elevated if she didn't fall and hurt herself. I am very concerned.
