9 weeks but gestational sac measures 4?

Ugh! okay im very confused and upset and could use some help and input...on nov 11 i took 2 home pregnancy tests and they were both positive so right away i tried to get into the drs but they didnt have any openings until the 29th so i called planned parenthood so i could confirm my results. Sure enough i was! They had told me based on my last menstral cycle i was about 7 weeks!  then on the 29th i went ot my regular obgyn which i would have then been 9 weeks and my test came back faintly positive along with my uterus feeling small so she sent me for a u/s and they coudlnt see anything on the regualr one so they did a interanal one and the technician said she seen something was was measuring about 4mm but she said its to early to call it a pegnancy since theres not heartbeat yet... im very confused at the weeks ive been told and if i am still pregnant or if i misscarried? Has anyone else had this happen to them or can at elast give me some input =/ this is my first pregnancy and im upset over all of this thinkign the worst.

well either your dates are wrong or you could have what is called a blighted ovum, thats when your egg is fertalised, implantation takes place and then the egg stops growing, the body can still think its pregnant as the placenta can still develop but no baby does, I have had this happen a couple of times, what you should be doing now is schedualing another u/s in a couple of weeks time and you should have a series of blood tests done over a few days to check to see if your hcg levels are rising as they should if not you will most likely miscarry, if they are rising then your dates must be off, I would prepare myself for the not so good outcome as it doesnt sound too positive, but hope for the best

i know its easier said than done but try and not worry yourself as its not good for your pregnancy i wouldn't worry until they tell you if any bad news i would ask for them to check your hcg level as if thats going up then everything is fine and your obviously not as far gone as you originally thought keep me updated on your progress and good luck

thanks guys, i had my hcg blood work done last wed && friday and i got a call today that they were pretty low and both test were the same hcg level so the nurse said im prob going to misscarry over the next few days =/ they do have me going again tom tho for more blood work and then to meet with my dr on wed.
