A lil poem I wrote for DH....

It feels so hard to make it through this life, I just need you by my side, why is it so hard for you to understand that this depression has taken me by the hand.

I can't control the way it makes me feel all I know is that this depression is real, You think its a cop out you think its fake you think excuses is all I wanna make.

My life really isn't hard but this depression is playing me like a card, look at my face, look in my eyes, now tell me do you think this depression is really a lie.

I know at night I act like a zombie but in all reality I need to act more like a mommy. Try to understand that I really want to be the best I can.


I wrote this for my dh to try and help him understand me...

Melissa, I think that is a really lovely poem!!  How well you described how you are feeling compared to how you WANT to feel and be.  You'll get there darlin'.  I hope your husband appreciates the poem as well.  ((((hugs)))

he rid the poem he said it was very depression and he didn't really care for it he said that my writing has always been great but the poem was enough to stress him out I said well hunny you said to write my feelings down on paper so thats what  I did and now your gonna get mad cus its not what you want to here well its how I feel and he said well I'm sorry and I'll try to help more but be patint with me I said me be patint with you how about you be patint with me well anyways I hope he thinks about it.
